Canarm Leader Fan AX Series Exhaust Fan

Sturdily constructed, direct drive, horizontal discharge for industrial, commercial and farm applications. Suitable for general ventilation of factories, garages, warehouses, and other commercial and industrial buildings.

Heavy duty aluminum housing with built in shutters. Aluminum shutters automatically open when fan starts, close when fan stops. Heavy duty OSHA motor mount/guard is standard. Motors are totally enclosed, continuous run, fan duty with built-in automatic overload protection. 115 Volt or 115/230 volt is standard, but other voltages in single or three phases are available.

#1 Q:   Can this mount to the ceiling? will the shutters open and close
A:   Not advised. The airflow should be horizontal for the shutters to open/close properly.

#2 Q:   Can I safely use the AX14-1V as an exhaust fan in a room spraying nitrocellulose lacquer and vinyl sealer?

#3 Q:   How thick is the area from the flange shown on the backside to the front of the louver frame?
A:   We added the dimensions to the Specs tab, which are model dependent. Let us know if you have more questions!

#4 Q:   Does this come with a control switch? How loud is it when operating?
A:   It does not, model it is will dictate the switch required. As to sound, that will depend on the size...the smaller the quieter, though they do offer a lo noise version that is rather quiet, but does sacrifice a few CFM.
