This &#8220;Inline Filter Box&#8221; has a MERV6 filter and is meant for general purpose filtration.\u00a0 MERV6 is considered a &#8220;better residential&#8221; level of filtration. [<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Minimum_efficiency_reporting_value\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Here&#8217;s a good overview of MERV levels<\/a>]<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hvacquick.com\/products\/residential\/Air-Filters\/Inline-Filter-Boxes\/HVACQuick-IFB-Series-Inline-Filter-Boxes\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/hvacquick.com\/images\/db\/family\/fam1060_1.jpg\" alt=\"HVACQuick IFB Series Inline Filter Boxes\" width=\"204\" height=\"211\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This filter box is commonly used for filtering incoming fresh air to a furnace or air handling unit.
