#1 Q:   Two questions re: Unit SDUB-301. Does the variable speed switch operate like a rheostat that increases fan speed as you turn the switch or are there set variable speeds i.e. 1/4 speed CFM, 1/2 speed CFM, 3/4 speed CFM and full speed CFM?2. Do you have any decibel ratings at the various CFM speeds?
A:   The speed controller is a rheostat. No preset speeds. Canarm publishes sone ratings for the fans in the performance curves catalog: https://www.hvacquick.com/catalog_files/Leader_SDUB_FanCurves.pdf
