The ETD9 Two-Position Room Thermostats are designed for on/off control with set points from 50 to 90 deg F. The ETD9STS is a heating/cooling thermostat and uses a snap-acting switch for line or low voltage applications.

#1	Q: I need a thermostat in my attic to control two attic fans and the original thermostats were removed so We could just turn on with a 110ac switch when in the attic rummaging through boxes. Will this unit work and mount to the wall or does it need a box mounted above the switch controlling the two fans. 110volt units. A: You need a thermostat with a higher temperature range.
