Fantech Iris Dampers

The IR Iris Damper is the ideal device for measuring and adjusting airflow through a duct. The design of the adjustable aperture ensures low turbulence resulting in minimal self-generated noise.

The damper is manufactured from galvanized sheet metal and is fitted with a rubber seal tested for air-tightness. The IR enables the taking of precise air flow measurements at all points including points close to duct deviations such as T-junctions and bends, and points in front of other supply-air devices.

#3	Q: Can these dampers seal completely (or nearly completely)? What is the smallest hole size when fully closed? A: These are for measuring airflow...there are pressure taps and a specific sized aperture to send the air through...in the pic, they are almost fully closed. Asked on 2015-07-09 by MD
