#1 Q:   I need to replace two FD60EM switches with broken buttons. Could you describe the colored wires coming from the back of your switch so I can make sure yours are the same as mine?
A:   Black=line voltage, Green=ground, White=Neutral, Red=power out to fan. https://www.hvacquick.com/catalog_files/Fantech_FD60EM_Wiring_1_Fan_2_Timers.pdf

#2 Q:   Can this timer be used with low wattage fans?
A:   Its fine as long as the voltage is correct. These switches are meant for 115 VAC fans only.

#3 Q:   Where do I indicate my color preference for this item...I would like ivory, but I see no place to note that.
A:   The FD60EM comes with white, ivory and light almond buttons/trim (all 3 included). You would have to supply a matching wall plate as indicated.

#4 Q:   Does the FD60EM switch operate only the fan, or the fan/ light combination. can the light be switched on/off separately from this switch
A:   The FD60EM will switch whatever is attached to it as one device. It can be either a single fan or the fan/light combo. It cannot switch those individually.

#5 Q:   I want to control one inline fan serving 2 bathrooms with a switch for the fan in each bathroom - can either the FD60EM or the FLD60 be used for this situation?
A:   Yes, you can use 2 of the FD60EM switches. See our writeup here on wiring this scenario: http://www.hvacquick.com/howtos/howto_fd60em.php

#6 Q:   Does the FD60EM have an on/off override, or does it only offer timed on/off options? Meaning, can I turn the unit on and off WITHOUT using the timer feature?
A:   You can always turn it OFF (there is an off button), but turning ON is only for timed operation (no dedicated on button).

#7 Q:   Do you sell the FD60 switch in brown?
A:   We only have the one with 3 overlays, they are in white, almond and ivory.

#8 Q:   Does the FLD60 fit in a standard toggle switch plate? I have multiple switches in one plate cover and want to replace just one switch.
A:   It does fit in a standard single gang space, and will integrate nicely with other switches of that style.

#9 Q:   Can I add this (FLD60) To the VALUEPKG-B instead of the one it comes with? Also I need a wall mount instead of roof mount exhaust, you say can specify but I found no place to do so not even in the cart?
A:   Sure! You cannot do the swaps in the cart, but call us at 877-711-4822 and we will make the changes for you.

#11 Q:   I do not have a neutral in the box. Will the switch work? Is it hard to upgrade to have a neutral?
A:   You need a neutral for the FD60EM timers to work. It might difficult depending on access - you should consult an electrician who can evaluate your house wiring.
