#3 Q:   can this be installed on a low pitch rolled roof
A:   These are meant for composite (shingle) roofs. Typically 3/12 or steeper pitch is advised.

#4 Q:   I have a 12 inline fan that runs 2050 CFM, would that create an airflow issue for the 12 cap?
A:   That is a lot of CFM to push through a cap that bends the air a full 180 degrees. We would recommend upsizing the cap or using a sidewall vent that does not bend the air.

#5 Q:   Are these roof caps available in factory black painted galvanized?
A:   They are not. Unpainted only. Sorry.

#8 Q:   Will this work with a 900 CFM kitchen range? Planning on installing 8 ducting but afraid that this roof cap may be a choke point. Would a goose neck roof cap be more appropriate? Please advise.
A:   The 8 inch cap is size for typical airflow of 700-850 cfm. Trying to push 900 cfm through that will result in a little more pressure drop than normal. Keep in mind that most 900 nominal cfm ranges with built in fans push more like 700-800 cfm when installed with ductwork, etc. Its hard to say if the goose neck cap would be any better as none of these manufacturers publish airflow/pressure drop specs...

#9 Q:   I am trying to replace a blower motor for my clients roof mounted blower unit for an outside grill in an outdoor kitchen. A roof cap is currently in existence on the roof, however the motor is burned out. Do you know where I can get a replacement motor?
A:   I would have complete units, but no replacement motor itself unless it is a manufacturer we carry, than I can possibly get one for it.

#10 Q:   Would this product work in a flat roof situation to vent a bathroom fan?
A:   Absolutely, these are perfect for that and have a nice sealing flange for leak free performance.

#11 Q:   Would this work as an Make up air intake as well? I need one for the roof top rather than on the wall. Or would there be concerns about pulling in pollens and debris from the roof if the intake level is high?
A:   It would do fine in that capacity, an inline filter box can be added to clean the air before entering the home
