Fantech MUAS Unitary Residential Makeup Air Systems
Fantech Unitary MUAS Makeup air systems for balancing residential kitchen exhaust.
A MUAS automatically compensates for an exhaust system with fan-powered, proportionally adjusting makeup air. It can be set up for a variety of pressure schemes: slightly negative, slightly positive, or balanced. The MUAS provides the exact amount of air selected.
- Variable supply airflow automatically in proportion to the exhaust
- Provides the exact amount of air needed
- Filters outdoor particles before fresh air is delivered to the home
- Complies with the International Residential Code (IRC) for kitchen makeup air requirements
- Your climate zone might necessitate a heater for the delivery of makeup air into the building. The optional MUAH heaters may be chosen separately, if desired to temper cold incoming outdoor air
- External shut-off damper
- Pair with an optional LD silencer for a quiet system
